on buying your own home
Sunday, September 30th, 2007I spoke to a friend last week and we discussed her plans for this year or early next year. She is planning to get married soon because she will be migrating in the United States and I guess she and her partner really love each other and I guess it’s about time for them to settle down. They will be moving to Virginia this last quarter of the year and will settle down there for good. They plan to buy a house either here in Philippines for her parents or in US particularly in Virginia. They were trying to contact some broker here and in the US to get some important advice and to know more about getting a house.
My sister’s friend refers an agent of Real Estate in Virginia and they started dealing with their plans already. She was very efficient and knows how to talk to her clients and gives vital information before getting one. She mentioned something about mortgage, loans and all those stuff I’m not really familiar with. She was actually asking me if she should go for it or not but I say I have really no idea since I haven’t experience buying my own house. So my only advice for her is to consult more agents and her friends, relatives and of course her soon to be husband who had the same experience as with her. We all know that buying your house especially in other countries is a very serious matter.
