The X Stage!

Traveling is one of most favorite stress reliever for almost everyone. If only money is not an issue, I might have traveled the around the world and visited my favorite places. I always look forward for some vacations especially if I have the time and money ready. I always wanted to see wonderful places and visit friends and relatives in different parts of the world just like my aunt who lives in Edinburgh, living with them is her husband and my 3 cousins. I don’t plan to stay on their house if ever I will visit them because I might cause them some inconvenience of taking care of me. I might go there for a visit for a day only or maybe look for Edinburgh Accommodation near their place so I can go there anytime and spend more time with my cousins and my favorite aunt who took care of me when my mom and dad where in US.

I remember when I was in Manchester to see my brother and took a short course in cooking in that city. I didn’t even stay at my brother’s place because he was staying with his friends and they are all boys so I just look for Manchester Accommodation near my school and my brothers place. I met some cool local residents of Manchester during my stay there. I am still waiting for Aunt’s reply to my email whether October will be a good month to go to Europe or what. I got a response from my cousin already and she said that she is in Newcastle right now to attend some conference about Newcastle Hotels and will get back to me once she is available.

My sister is on her 3rd quarter of her pregnancy. We are planning to give her a baby shower later this week. I will be the one who will organize this event and I don’t know yet whom I will invite for our mini party since our budget is limited. I might just call some of her close friends and close relatives. I’m still thinking for the theme of our event, it wasn’t supposed to be like that but just to give it more color and make it more exciting. I’m planning to inform the attendees to be in costume like babies or maybe pregnant moms.

Most important, they have to bring a present for my sister. Their gifts should be something that they can add for their nursery, so all gifts should be nursery furniture. My sister already got a lot of baby stuff such as clothes, feeding bottles that’s why if we give them furniture for their nursery, it will be very helpful. I saw a cute toy chest that my future niece can use when she got her toys already, and there’s also many choice of cute rocking chairs that will add color on her room. My sister is requesting to give her a dresser but I say that’s too expensive so I’m just going to ask one of them to get that for her. See you there!

I was at my friend Cynthi’s new home over the weekend to help her redesign her place. Cynthi got a new apartment after she decided to leave by herself after her complicated situation with her family. Anyway, I was there to help her aside from the fact that she is my best friend; she also helped me when I moved in my then place. We were busy fixing stuff like a real carpenter. It was very exhausting but fun. It’s also a good way of bonding. Redesigning the apartment was easy especially for us girls, and we almost have the same concept but of course her choice is always the last call.:D

We finish the apartment in 2 days, and then on the last day of my stay there we fixed her garden. We installed the mailbox that we got from mailboxes website. I actually refer that site to her because she love how the readers on my blog reacted about my post on residential mailboxes and commercial mailboxes. We didn’t even have a hard time installing that at her front yard since it’s everything is just a piece of cake. My weekend maybe so tiring but it was different and I had so much fun.

After that exhausting weekend, I just stay home in my room for 2 days. The only time I go out is when I run out of food in my room or if I need to answer the nature’s call. I got addicted with this online casino that I stumble upon making some research about casino. By next 17 of November, my dearest friend Isaac will be celebrating his 24th birthday and at the same time it will be his bon voyage party. He is such a special person to me since he’s been there for me when we were on our high school and up to now that we are both busy with our careers. I was checking with our other friends with what they plan to give to Ike (that’s how we call him). I am thinking of giving him a personalized gift that will remind me and somehow represents him as well. Maybe I can give him a shirt that he can use everyday with our favorite lines or maybe our name on it then we can add our group pictures. Since he loves graffiti shirts, I might check some custom products online or later when I go to mall then I will give him a graffiti that he’s been looking for. Something naughty but nice for him is the way to describe him and his likes.

I enjoy searching for perfect lines or slogan that I will have print on his shirt and by just searching, it’s making me laugh so hard even if I’m alone. Everyday that passed, his party is getting closer and I don’t know if I’ll be happy or what. I know that he will have a great career abroad and it’s always been his dream to go in that country and work, but why do I feel sad about it. As what he keeps on telling us, it’s not goodbye. It’s just see you later…maybe there!

My relatives are here for a vacation and my cousins are organizing a reunion so we met up somewhere with my mom and some of my aunts. While we are waiting for others to arrive on a restaurant owned by my favorite cousin, we were having some debates about our favorite artists. They teased me on how fanatic I am with Hanson during my high school days. My cousin Zara, who arrived from New York, was teased by his brother because he is such a fan of the Puerto Rican Rapper Jim Jones.

I got interested with this artist because I used to hear some of his song when I play my podcast. You can easily identify Jim Jones music compare with other rappers because his style has a little touched of his native Puerto Rico and the beat of New York. I thought he was just a newcomer in the industry but cousin Zara told me that he is already coming out with his 3rd album this year. I borrowed her iPod and was surprised that she got most of her single downloaded on her files. Some other artists that we remember that my cousins were a fan were the like of Backstreet boys, Britney Spears and other boy bands. Our parents were a big fan of the music of Beatles, Eagles, Elvis Presley, Elton John and more to mention that is not familiar to us anymore.

I am about to finish my short course in management, done with my college and masters and now I’m ready to face a new world. Now that I have my bachelor’s degree and my master’s degree I am starting to hunt for some jobs in the real world. Since I have been working on my small businesses online, part time as a telemarketer, and for a coffee shop why do I still have this scary feeling of entering the corporate industry. I have found a job online that is more of software solutions or IT related but I am afraid to apply because of rejection. I know that I am not that good with software but it says there that the job is open for fresh graduates and they offer training and support services for this kind of job. I submitted my application online and just hoping for the best.
