Trade Show Displays: How to Properly Remove all those Unwanted Stickers

Friday, April 25th, 2008

So you have gone ahead and purchased a few trade trade show displaysfor your company or organization and are gearing up for another spring rush of conventions when you go back to the storage warehouse and see that your display cases are covered with old shipping stickers. Your investment looks terrible right now! What should you do? First of all take a deep breath because your investment is safe.

Next, you will obviously need to remove all those annoying stickers. There is no magical instant solution to do this, but there are some products that will cleanly and safely remove the stickers without harming the plastic display cases or yourself. One of these products that are used to remove stickers from trade show exhibits is a product called Goo-Gone.
It uses a combination of Citrus Power and scientific technology designed to eliminate the very toughest problems. You can safely use this product to remove those tough stickers, and Goo-Gone can even be used to remove gum, paint, oil and grease, duct tape, etc. so that you can really clean those display cases before your next convention.

Having a clean display case and storage case is crucial because it reflects upon your company. It’s also beneficial to remove those old shipping stickers so that your cases don’t end up at the wrong destination! Talk about a disaster! That’s why it’s so important to keep your trade show booths clean and presentable in order to maintain professionalism and to increase the customer’s or client’s perceptions of your company.

Fleet Cards

Tuesday, April 15th, 2008

One of the things are company are working on now is to cost cut on some office expense like papers. We lessen some papers and we started with the invoices. We have heard about fleet cards that we will need to lessen the invoices. Fleet cards are card that can be used when we need to refuel our delivery trucks and other vehicles for company. With this, we can track all our expenses when it comes to refueling by the use of these Fleet Cards.

One more thing that we do to cost cut is to save energy in the office. Just last week, there was an e-mail blast for the whole company to turn off their PC once they logged out and if they are on a break they can turn of their monitor. Imagine how much energy we can save if you have thousands of employees turn off their PC even if thats just during their 15 minute break and what more on their 1 hour lunch break. There are lots of ways to save energy and paper and money. And the use of fleet card is one of the newest and the brightest idea I’ve heard.

Wanted:bookkeeper

Saturday, February 16th, 2008

Do you guys have any idea what are the regular bookkeeping service rates? I need this info because my boss will be hiring a new one since the accountant we had before can’t handle additional task anymore. Accountant has a different task that a book keeper can’t do.

We need a separate book keeper to keep track not only with our expenses in the company but more. From wiki, Bookkeeping is “keeping records of what is bought, sold, owed, and owned; what money comes in, what goes out, and what is left.” So if you know anyone that the company can trust, please give me some information about. We need this person as soon as possible. And hopefully, the rates you can provide is justifiable.

ergo free

Monday, January 28th, 2008

I have been having some problem with my back lately. I asked my boss I can call in sick because I feel like my body is numb. My hands were a little shaky last week. I can’t even type; I can’t use my computer for work. I know that this will have to do with the way I position myself when working. I raise this concern during our company meeting to have our office used the standard ergo equipment such as the computer monitor arm.

This armed computer chair will not only make me feel comfortable with my job but it can also lessen the absenteeism in the office that would make us more productive. Once I get back in the office and they haven’t changed those office chairs and tables, I might really resign for me not to sacrifice my health.

Ever since I started with this blog advertising, I feel like I never run out of money on my pocket and I can finally pay my debts on time monthly. I’m glad that I’ve heard about Smorty and that my friend introduced me about it. Now that I’m free from all this debts, I can finally save some money to buy my dream gadget. Hopefully by the end of this year, I ll get to buy my dream iPhone touch. If ever I wont be getting this kind of phone, I might just get a plasma TV for my room by early next year. But for now, ill be saving some money for Christmas to buy presents for my mom and dad, my siblings, cousins, friends and of course my godchildren. I have already listed my ideal gifts for them and hopefully ill get my money from smorty in time and hoping to get more jobs soon.

work related

Wednesday, October 17th, 2007

I am about to finish my short course in management, done with my college and masters and now I’m ready to face a new world. Now that I have my bachelor’s degree and my master’s degree I am starting to hunt for some jobs in the real world. Since I have been working on my small businesses online, part time as a telemarketer, and for a coffee shop why do I still have this scary feeling of entering the corporate industry. I have found a job online that is more of software solutions or IT related but I am afraid to apply because of rejection. I know that I am not that good with software but it says there that the job is open for fresh graduates and they offer training and support services for this kind of job. I submitted my application online and just hoping for the best.

Dad off to Canada

Thursday, October 11th, 2007

Just to give you a little break from all my gift ideas 101 entry, I would like to tell you the story on how happy my dad with all the plans they have come out while staying in the US. I mentioned already on my other blog that he is in New York for a conference, after that they will be flying in Las Vegas for a little pleasure and business for a convention in Rodeo Drive. I just finish chatting with my dad and he told me that his boss and their clients are inviting them to go to Whistler., Canada. They will pay for their Whistler lodging since their next convention by December will be held in Canada.

My dad never tried to play ski and that’s one of their plans when they get there. I was searching also for some information about Whistler accommodation because I’m excited for my dad too and I find it really interesting. I want to recommend also the Cedar Hollow 8 which I think will be very affordable for their group since it is made for 8 guests with 4 bedrooms. It has a hot tub which is what they really need since their groups are mostly from Tropical Island. I’m really glad everything is working out fine for my dad’s job. I wish I could go with them sometime.
